X. Postflight Procedures - Checking Instruments and Equipment
To determine that the applicant exhibits instructional knowledge of the elements related to checking instruments and equipment by describing- Importance of noting instruments and navigation equipment for improper operation

Make a note during flight (or shortly after landing and shutdown) of any improper operation to remind you (or owner/operator) to make repairs
- Reasons for making a written report of improper operation and/or calibration of instruments prior to next IFR flight

Written report alerts other pilots and maintenance personel to make adjustments, repairs before next flight
